Custom Stacks Pricing

As is detailed on our examples page, BitRock custom stacks cover a wide range of open source tools and libraries, and can vary in terms of complexity and number of components. As every project is unique, we offer quotes on a per-project basis. Although we cannot provide specific pricing information until we learn more about your project, here are some general ideas of what you can expect:

• Custom stacks pricing includes an up-front design and development fee, plus a quarterly fee for support and maintenance.
• Quotes include upgrades to new versions of supported platforms and bundled software.
• The cost of a BitRock custom stack will be less than it would cost you to develop and maintain your own distribution in-house.

Variables considered for quotes are:

• Number of supported platforms
• Quantity and complexity of open source tools to be included
• Number of named contacts required by your company
• Project timeline
• Custom installer requirements
