Bitrock aims to make software easier to use and deploy with a focus on Linux and open source.

As long time open source users and contributors, we know that open source solutions are often more stable, more secure and perform better than their commercial counterparts. We also know that businesses and individuals, especially those coming from a Windows background, may be intimidated by the steeper learning curve and perceived lack of commercial support. We don't think it has to be this way. We want to make open source projects as easy to use and deploy as their commercial counterparts. Our software stacks offer leading open source projects in an easy to use, easy to install format. We make these software stacks freely available to the community, helping improve the adoption of open source by both businesses and individual developers. To complement our open source offerings, we provide support and customization services for ISVs and IT departments.

For over a decade we have been users and contributors of code and documentation to a variety of projects, such as Apache, Mono and the Linux Documentation Project. One of our main goals is to keep contributing as much as possible to the community. For our projects that are not fully open source, such as our multiplatform installation tool, we provide free, fully-functional licenses to other Open Source projects.
