BitRock Selected to Participate in Prestigious Open Source Business Conference 2005
BitRock to present current and forthcoming products in the Startup Showcase.
Seville, Spain March 22, 2005
BitRock SL has again been invited to take part at the Open Source Business Conference
("OSBC"), which brings together established technology
vendors, startups, Open Source community members, and enterprise IT
users/customers to jointly explore and discuss how to capitalize on
new opportunities for Open Source Software (OSS) deployments. After widely-publicized success in 2004, OSBC has earned sponsorships from Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, Oracle, and Novell, among others. Over
the course of the two-day conference, attendees will interact with the
brightest thinkers and most innovative practitioners in Open Source
business today. The event is being held April 4-6th at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, CA.
After being invited to present Bitrock InstallBuilder at the first OSBC in 2004, Bitrock has been invited to return as a part of the Showcase again in 2005. Bitrock will be highlighting its new line of solutions, Bitrock Stacks.
BitRock Stacks combine leading Open Source projects such as Apache, Tomcat, PHP and Mono with easy to use management tools and
BitRock's extensive Open Source expertise. These solutions provide a comprehensive foundation upon which corporations can build their Open Source infrastructure. Bitrock LAMPStack is the first in this series of products to be released, and is currently in beta. All Stacks will be free for download and use from www.bitrock.com
BitRock InstallBuilder allows users to create easy-to-use native installers that can be run in graphical, text and unattended modes across multiple platforms. Bitrock Installbuilder replaces complicated, error-prone manual installation steps and provides a professional, streamlined end-user experience. Currently supported are Linux, Windows, and Solaris platforms. Support for Mac OSX will be released in the near future.
